This guy seems awfully happy for someone who’s about to take a surfboard through the torso. It’s like some sort of cereal commercial, but for chili dogs, where the chili dog attracts the murderous surfin’ mascot and there are smiles all around. Doug’s Dogs: they’re to die for!

Maybe he should check the contents of the chili. Maybe I should.

    Man, there’s a whole lot of subtext here with those two beach guys, hot dog, and the approving pelican. It’s like some modern retelling of the Book of Genesis.
