Hey, there’s Karl Smith, D.V.M. again! Apparently it’s time to give him a tag. I see talking animals are regular customers here. That once again brings up the subject of different levels of anthropomorphism. Imagine you’re a bird. Your name is Bob, you go to work, today you’re here to have your wing looked at. You sit next to some gent and OH MY GOODNESS WHAT IS THAT ON HIS LAP!! Why, it’s your natural predator, in tiny domesticated form! It can’t even speak!

Now replace “natural predator” with “boss” or “little brother”. Grossed out yet?
